Shipping via UPS may incur customs brokerage
charges upon delivery. Although the declared value of the Rhinostat
Kit is only $35.00, the Canadian Customs Office may (at it's sole
discretion) place a higher value on the shipment which creates the need for
UPS to act as a customs broker on your behalf. While the USPS
(United States Postal Service) is an option, it can create a need for you to
act as your own customs broker. This may involve a trip to the customs
office to fill out forms and then another trip to retrieve the kit from the
facility where it is being held for you. Another disadvantage of using
the USPS is that Rhinostat can not track your package once it crosses the
border in Canada. The USPS does not offer a service guarantee and your
package may be subject to a long delay. Due to all of these reasons,
UPS is still the best option.
